So I have a question hoping for some advice if anyone has down this. So will be setting up a waterbox infinia 150.4 (with rock and sand obviously less than 150 gallon it says - so maybe 120 gallons) and want to install a UV Sterilizer using the manifold hooked up to the return line. So I will need a main return pump and a pump for the UV. So if i use pump for the UV say at 800 gph, what size main return pump would I need? I am getting a DC return pump so I can dial it down.

Let’s see.

10x your DT volume = 1500gph
UV Sterilizer = 800gph
Total GPH = 2300gph.
Then let’s add maybe 20% for head pressure and plumbing.
2300gph x 1.20 = 2760gph

So somewhere around 2760gph?
