Return Pump?

I'm in the market for a new return pump for my 120g (Lps/softies). Looking for the old standard of 3x - 5x volume turnover so 3oo - 600 gph. at about 5 ft head pressure and I'm considering the DCA 3000 or DCA 4000. What are the approximate flow rates of these at the lowest setting? Ideally I'd like to be able to achieve my flow thru the sump and have the pump speed be about half throttle. I'm also open to suggestions.

Hi,

I would recommend the DCA6,000 for your tank size. From experience it's always better to go slightly bigger with DC pumps, because you can adjust them down with the touch of a button. The 4,000 may just barely cut it at almost full power, but the 6,000 can do the job at about 60-70% capacity.
