Hey Everyone!! It’s been a really long time since we did anything. Who is interested in helping get the club going again? Covid is starting to settle down. Their are several people interested in joining a reef club in the area. Now is the time get things going.

In bristol TN been wanting for an opportunity to do something club related and get joined up. Looking forward to it if it gets started up again.

I might be interested. Thinking of getting back into the hobby once my son graduates this Spring and moves out -- and I turn his bedroom into my office. Already dreaming of the tank I want to build and put there...

That would be awesome - I miss having a local club.

Sounds like some interest but no progress? Just bought an AIO cube to Jumpstart myself back into the hobby. Having the local club made it much more interesting though.

P.S. Merry Christmas, all

I am for revamping the club.

Ore local info and help would be appreciated.

Just found this thread… is there a reef club in Knoxville?

There once was, but it split into two for reasons that are beyond me while I was out of the hobby, then seemed to die off during coronavirus related isolation. not sure who the officers were when it died out who might have info that could help us. But think there are plenty of active hobbyists locally that would be interested in reforming the old or cresting a new club.

No idea how it works but I would join

Think we'd have to get enough interested parties to meet together and work out the details. We had rules and bylaws and officers and nonprofit status and all that before. Likely some framework here for most of that.

Then again, maybe just meet socially at first like we did back in the beginning before we get all official. Need to see if enough people interested before worrying about being official.

Yeah I’d be interested, if nothing else just to meet some other reefers in the area.
