Inspired by Lasse (thanks Lasse for the advice!) I’m considering building a custom parallel sump where one side functions like a normal sump and the other half contains a cryptic fuge and a separate reverse DSB/chaeto pod fuge. Eventually the hope is this would be a skimmerless system.
Has anyone attempted this? I’m trying to build in as much natural filtration and diversity in my tank as possible. Looking for any ideas/advice on this type of build.
Hopefully once I figure out a plan for the sump I will be posting a build thread (Right now thinking custom GC 72 by 32 by 26).
Thanks!
