Pic is dark and hard to confirm but appears to be expelling zooxanthellae due to lack of light or water flow
I have some clownfish, a tang, dartfish, royal gamma, and a cardinal. i was thinking maybe its possible for hermit crabs to do this? Thank you for the information!Pic is dark and hard to confirm but appears to be expelling zooxanthellae due to lack of light or water flow
What occupants are in the tank?
Not too many fish Will show interest in mushrooms however stinging from a nearby coral would cause this also
Hermits can but I have about 18 Rhodactis and 3 hermits who could not care less not to say they are not showing interest. In some cases, when feeding, if food lands on them, a fish will go after the food particles and cause damage in the process. You can take a turkey baster and give it GENTLE blasts and see if material dislodges from them and how they look after this stepI have some clownfish, a tang, dartfish, royal gamma, and a cardinal. i was thinking maybe its possible for hermit crabs to do this?
