Hello everyone,
After researching care requirements for mushrooms it seems like lower light and low to moderate flow is preferable.
My question is the following. Is would a partially shaded area higher in the tank be equal to non shaded areas lower in the tank.
Also, I’m reading that Florida ricordea mushooms sting, is this correct? I was thinking about putting yellow ricordea mushroom on the ledge just under my green toadstool. It’s about 1/3 up my rock scape. I like the idea of yellow mushrooms contrasting the green toadstool.
Thoughts?

Yes they sting things like crazy. Found this out beside a monti.

Imo they can survive anywhere you but them as long as its not at the too or has a ton of light. Mine do great fir 2-3 month’s then whittle away until i put them in my nano tanks then they come back. Idk why maybe to much par.

Thanks, I’ve got a nice yellow one that split. The original shroom is still on the frag plug. Might be better to keep it closer to its original location.
