Ricordea placement

Does this placement look good? I lost one of these when i first set my tank up. Newbie and probably tank not mature enough. Also what type is it?

Should be fine. Mine grow basically anywhere. They can slowly move if they need to.

Another question. Some of it is trapped under the piece of rock its on. Like bent under it. Can they free them selves? I hope this one makes it. Its a beauty! Now i know more about tank perams i hope i can keep it alive.
