This is the size that I'm trying to convince my wife that I need. Your build looks fantastic so far. Thanks for sharing.

Paint the stand, done.
$15 rgb led bling, done. (Ps they advertise it wont rust. We'll see about that!)
Drain plumbing finally done!

Waiting on some fittings for the return then filling up the way!!

I went went purple pipes, haha! Love the colored pipes.

P.S. I have a ton of rockscape images as well. I'm going with the 3 islands look.

This looks great. How big is your fish room? I’m looking at doing a similar layout just curious how the size of room is working for you?

Thanks! It's working out really great. The room is about 30" deep so plenty of room to walk. It gets tight when I bring the brute back there for water changes but it's not bad. The only thing I wish I could have done was get a sink in there and make room for a water changing station but there was no way that was happening. and to make it an deeper of a room I would have had to move a window....wasn't worth. Just going to have find a spot for the frag tank to be set up lol. Definitely put in a vent if you can.

Perfect thanks for the reply. I’ve put in a floor drain as well as a drain for a sink, I’m still unsure if I’m going to actually put a sink in the room, not sure if I’ll have enough room. I also ran pipe for an exhaust vent. The room itself is roughly 5’x8’.

If you're going to put the RO unit in the room, add the sink. Just think about carrying the nasty skimmer cup out of the room to clean it... my biggest problem is that I'm not above the basement and didn't have the room or funds to add water to where the tank is. So I'll be figuring that out in the future with strong pumps from the basement.

This has been needing an update for a long time. Hope all is well. Also how do you like your ghost overflow?
