I was wondering if anyone can tell me how do you tell the difference between a ritteri and bta when they are less then 2" in size? Thanks for you knowledge.

A BTA will have white lines around its mouth. I don't think a ritteri does? Maybe one of the nem experts will chime in soon.

You would need to see under the disk. Ritteri have bumps along the edges. Also you can usually tell by tentacle structure if your familiar.

Btas have white lines around the mouth, mags do not.Mags also have verracue on the base near the tentecles.
