RO/DI 5 stage or 6?

Depends....I know not a big help. I used a 5 stage but burned through mixed resin bed way too quick...went to 7 and now only burn through anion which will save money over long haul... but both had 0 TDS output. My TDS in runs 400...so if you have better input...less needed for good output. There is a composition component too so maybe a reefer local to you could comment. But most will be ok with 5 stage mixed bed DI. Hope this helps.
