no issues with tap adaptor. i have 2 in use for years with no failing ever in almost 20 years.
If your city have Chloramines this unit will struggle as its got only 1 carbon stage and 1 DI stage.
only down side will be you will have to change the DI media and Carbon block quite frequently.
Another thing you want to make sure is to see if the replacement sediment filter, carbon block and membrane plus DI is available after buying the unit as you dont want to get stuck with a unit you cannot find replacement material for.
