I ordered a drain saddle for my RODI to hook it up under my bathroom sink. Went to install it and the downpipe from the sink is metal and 1.25". The PVC below it that has the trap is 1.75". The Murdock 1.5" drain saddle is too lose on the upper pipe and I'm not sure I could get the bolts to thread on the lower pipe. I probably could with longer bolts.

What options do I have to get it working? I was surprised my pipe wasn't standard sizing.

They are supposed to be attached to your drains down tube which are thin walled, not to PVC pipes. you should be able to drill your metal down tube and saddle may seem lose but they are typically made to fit between 1.25 & 1.5 tubes.
