Hi all, I need your opinions on my new setup.

So as you can see in my very un sophisticated image below I have the main water which feeds my rodi system. After the DI resin it goes to my storage tank which has to valves one to fill up 50L and another if opened it fills to 100L. Right before these two valves I have a T joint where a pipe goes straight to my ATO reservoir. Now my concerns are:

1) Is this a good setup
2) Should I add a valve at the very bottom and have the pipe feeding the ATO always coming out from the reservoir tank? or am I good getting it directly from the RO? It would feed my ATO with pure gravity however and there is a bit of a rise at the end as it has to pass through the wall on the right..

Feel free to suggest any modifications to get this bullet proof and as much as possible

It would be best to fill your ato from your reservoir. It would help the ro filters last longer

So I should add a valve at the bottom of the tank and make its way through via gravity to the ATO tank?

RO membranes don’t do well on short cycles. They tend to have creep that needs to get flushed before the rejection rate returns to normal. If you constantly run it to “top off” then you will burn through DI resin. If you connect to the ATO container, you might want to consider manually triggering it.

So what would be the best way? I have the 100L tank which can either be fillet at 100L or 50L.. do I make a valve at the bottom to fill up the ato tank by gravity?

Yes gravity feed your ato from one of your containers specifically the 100L so you don’t have to constantly have to refill that one ether

Would I use a normal valve to do this or is there something else?
