Thanks i may have to look into that after testing the jeboa app.I used a separate controller to regulate how long each pump was on.
I used the Hydor Koralla Smart Wave Controller.
Worked great for me.

That Looks like separation to me. Although it could have came like that from the factory (I've seen worse) . what size tank is it? also is your stand factory or home made? Im no pro, But i followed a few simple rules and my my tank is back up and running and im not to worried about it leaking any time soon. ( knocks on wood) But if your going to attempt it i can lay out how i did it.I've been so afraid to disassemble my tank and reconstruct it. After seeing you did it I may be able to quit procrastinating now? I have wa questions though, like how do I know how much silicone to leave between the panes of glass? And how to keep it evenly spaced apart while drying. I did a leak test on a used tank I bought a while back and it didnt leak however I noticed what to me looks like air separation between the panes of glass so I'd rather fix it now then after stuff is living and growing in there. Is that what it looks like to you? That's 3/4 inch glass
So i assume that spot is over half way up the side seam or over the halfway mark? I thought the inner seam looked good and why i commented it could have been factory. but yea i would fix that. ive seen pictures of red sea tanks that started that way before leaking. Give me a bit and ill make a write up of what i did, the most time is spent cleaning and preparing, the actual assembly and sealing went quick.. figure the the front and back panels are over 100 pounds each. on mine me and wife were able to complete the job.But yeah any advice would be good. I'm going to attempt what you did. Better safe than sorry
