Rodi filter change question

I just replace the two filters and the DI resin, turn it on and go. It reads high TDS for about 20 seconds but the amount of water being pushed out during that time is so small it doesn't really matter. I have been doing it this way for almost 2 years.

If you do it this way, all those carbon fines are going right into the RO membrane.

I also rinse one filter at a time, 5 gallons per each.... The other containers are empty until clean filters go into them. The amount of crap that comes out of carbon filters is crazy, deff don't want that in the membrane/di.
Exactly! I can't understand why more vendors don't recommend that their customers do this. Well, scratch that. I think I do understand why!
