How much water have you put through that DI cartridge? It's already half used. That's probably why you are getting some TDS on the RODI output. With a single mixed bed DI canister, once the resin starts to get significantly exhausted some TDS will get past the remaining resin depending on how fast the flow is. If it is pretty fast it will happen sooner than later. My guess is with the two membranes and the booster pump your getting pretty good output into the DI canister. Maybe too much for a single mixed bed cartridge to handle?
I think it's worth checking your source water TDS and your RO TDS if you haven't to make sure your system is operating correctly up to that point.
Yes with regard to TDS creep. When your system sits a while the RO water is initially very high TDS. Running this water into the DI will burn through resin much faster. I run a T splitter with valve after RO before DI so I can let the RO run a few minutes before sending the RO water to the DI section. Will save a lot of DI resin. The RO water with higher tds is good for watering plants, making coffee etc.
