I'm slowly adding very high salinity water into the sump. I figure that if any salt flakes make it through the dissolve process they should be dissolved before they get to the DT. This also allows me to slowly steadily increase instead of in jumps. I checked three hours ago, I'm up to 1.021.

Coral looks like it's still alive. Next few days will tell.

@BanjoBandito 20% is about 50 gallons. My RODI is busted (new one is ordered). I don't have enough water on hand for the changes needed. I'm dripping in high salinity water. Will do water changes when the new filter becomes available.

In case anyone is following and interested .....

Im up to about 1.023. I have spotted all the fish except for my mandarin swimming. They don't look stressed. Some of the corals are opening back up, snails are still stuck to the wall but not moving. The hermit crabs in the sump are likely gone. Possibly my pods as well. The sg drop in the sump was much worse then the dt so its not a surprise. The good new is it doesn't look like it will be a total loss.

My apex data shows this was a slow crash over about 36 hours. Could be the time let things adjust enough to survive.

Fish seem fine. Still haven't seen my mandarin...... coral opening back up. May have dodged a bullet. We shall see. Still increasing SG. Probably my target tomorrow night. Skimmer is going nuts. I'll skim wet once I have my new RODI. Until then it's an oversized air stone.

Last post. All the fish made it. Coral is TBD. Looks like it will get through, but time will tell. Snails are moving. Pods are a question mark, which may be an issue for my mandarin. New rodi came today.
