Hello, So im in a bit of a predicament right now, so im leaving for the weekend and absolute have to do a water change for my tank.
I just set up a RODI filter the other day but the TDS meter got delayed and isnt going to be here in time. So im just worried that my RODI isnt perfect, what are the odds that a new system is producing bad water.

Also is it worth it to put some conditioner in it or some prime to be safe? The last thing I want happening is a tank crash when im gone.

I’ve heard that the RO membranes may have a little bit of a factory substance on them when you first use them. So if it was me, I would let the product line run through the RO system disconnected from the DI resin for 15-20min, then connect to the Di and you should be good to go.

I flushed just the RO for about an hour before putting the DI into the system.
