I filled up my 35 gallon RODI container last night and at some point during filling the RODI media was saturated and the ppm coming out of the system was ~3ppm. My guess is that around 15-20 gallons were at 0ppm and 15-20 were somewhere between 1-4 ppm.

Question is whether I can use this water to mix up my next saltwater batch or not. I don't have any other containers to store the water for other purposes and I don't want to just toss it but I also don't want to jeopardize the stability of my tank, which has been doing well with respect to parameters and algae (tank is 6 months old).

Should I toss that water or is it safe to use ? Thanks in advance for input !
