Roller Filter Question

Does anybody else have an issue with filter rollers causing your skimmer to go crazy? Every time mine indexes the skimmer overflows like mad. Kind of like using a new filter sock without rinsing? But how would you rinse a roll?

I haven’t experienced the issue with Clarisea so far. What filter roller do you use?

One thing I’ve noticed lately is that having a carbon reactor before skimmer really helps prevent all sorts of overflowing troubles. If your sump compartments allow it, can give it a try.

Thanks, I have a Klir. No room for carbon before unless I go back to socks. I suspect my skimmer is just too touchy.
