Might be a new one for ya'll. No idea its growing like a plant some type of tube worm. Has 4 arms on its head almost like hydroid... But my worm was milking few days ago...??

I can tell you this isn't related to your feather duster spawning, but beyond that it's tough to say. I'm assuming all of this popped up suddenly one day, yes?

Does it stay in place, or is it moving/there one moment and gone the next sort of a thing?

It stays in 1 spot. Its growing like roots. On the magnifying glass I can see tiny head with 4 little arms and balls at the end of the arms. About 1mm or smaller.

Any chance you can get magnified pics to share? I can see what you're asking about, but not clearly enough to guess what it might be.

Those are some sort of colonial cnidarian "medusazoan" (not a valid taxonomic term, but refers to critters that have polyp and medusa stages like hydroids, jellyfish, staurozoans, etc.) - it's likely a hydroid of some kind, but I'm not familiar with it offhand.

Regardless, it's generally not recommended to keep hydroids, as some can be invasive and/or have potent stings.

There was a thread last year that showed something similar, and it linked to an even older thread where if I remember correctly eventually identified what it was and documented how it behaves.

Unfortunately I couldn’t find these 2 threads from the quick search that I did here, but it’s worth investing some time to look them up.
