I just recently bought a rose bulb and put him in my tank. Question is do I need to acclimate him to my leds I have or will he move to a suitable spot on his own. He moved about 5 inches from where I first set him. Thanks ahead of time.

He will move around until comfortable. I have never acclimated any of mine to light, only to water.

Ok great thanks I'll just let him be . Seems to have found a spot he likes

When i introduce a bta i put them on the bottom of the scape and they find their way up towards the top as they see fit. They always seem to roam for about a month. They may stay in one spot for a few days then move again. All mine wind up on the top in my tank where there is strong light and flow. I run ati 26 hd withe these settings and they seem very happy.
