Royal Gramma hiding under trachyphillia

I've got a Royal Gramma who has been with me for a couple of weeks but I always find him hiding underneath my trachyphillia, is this normal?

Completely normal.

IME they normally spend their day hiding in the rocks. If its hiding under the coral, I imagine there is not enough rock, or it is an 'arches style' rockwork which offers no hiding space, or something like that.
