So I’ve had this royal gramma for almost two years now. They’re known for sometimes being timid but mine was never the case and always swimming around. Well, I added two cleaner shrimp to my tank a week ago, and it’s been hiding in a cave since! Does anyone know why this might be? Is it related to the shrimp? It’s never done this before and I’m afraid it’s not getting enough food.

Mine just started hiding shortly after adding an urchin to the tank. I'd be more concerned if it was just one, but all 4 are doing the same thing. Fish are funny.
