How much did they go for during the live sale?

I didn't get mine at a live sale like @mfollen , I got it at a coral meet a little while back for a pretty sweet deal.

I don’t think 660/red is exclusive to RB photon V2?

It's not exclusive, alot of fixtures and bulbs provide it , but alot of people dont run them or dont have it in their spectrum's on some of these new fangled setups , to pull out the reds / pinks / purple your gonna want some 660nm spike was all I meant by that statement.

Mine didn’t look anything like the colony but after 6 months and crusting in 400 par it is starting to look like the Angry Bird coral. Be patient.
