Has anyone ever used a “HDX 32-Gallon Blue Recycling Can⁠” to store either RO/DI water or mixed saltwater? Advice welcome.

Brute Cans have been used to store water for many many reefers for many many years. I just figure why mess with a known good thing?

Brute cans are also fda approved for food contact. Both may be fine, but I’d elect the Brute and have used them for decades.
