Hey all:

I have a basement sump and would like to add a frag tank to the system. I'm going to use a 50gal rubbermaid stock tank.

A couple questions I have:

- Should I T off the main return or have a separate return pump for this system?
- How do I plumb the overflows? Does the Rubbermaid tank need to be above the sump level? This is the biggest thing I'm not sure about how to handle.

As far as the return pump, I would suguest at least 3-4 turnover if you have power heads in the bin. So for a 50g tank probably a 200 gph overflow rate. And for the overflows you should have them so the standing water level in the tank is higher than the sump water level. Hope this helps!
