Are those storing RODI or NSW? Do you have lids for them to help with evaporation?

Yes, they will be used for NSW and RODI. I am going to make lids to fit on top. I am also going to paint the tanks to block light and unwanted growth. Are those storing RODI or NSW? Do you have lids for them to help with evaporation?
The top will be NSW and the bottom will be ATO/fresh. I will also have the ability to use both for SW if needed. I have installed a utility sink in my fish room with a dedicated RODI spigot. It will sit where the normal soap dispenser is located in the sink. I will have a hose attachment for the water station for larger RODI needs.Which is which? One of the things I did not do on my setup that I wish I had, was to put a spigot/nozzle coming off my RODI behind the valve that isolates it from the rest of the system. I've found that I regularly would like to get a small amount of RODI water out to clean something when I'm actively mixing NSW. It can also be a pain to flush out my one spigot when I want either RODI or NSW. On my old 60g cube mixing station, I had a dedicated spigot coming off of both and it was very convenient.
Nice, I've been wanting to install a dedicated RODI "sink" for a while now. Very handy. It looks to me that you have everything accounted for.The top will be NSW and the bottom will be ATO/fresh. I personally thing mote drains the better and then you could do seaswirls on the returnsI've been thinking a lot about my overflow box lately. I plan to di a herbie overflow with the two 1.5" center drains and two 1 inch returns in the outside. Any thoughts on this or any other recommendations on an overflow plumbing setup? I can also use all 4 as drains and plump the returns over the top and back into the tank.
Think more * stupid auto correctI personally thing mote drains the better and then you could do seaswirls on the returns
I agree, I've been leaning this way and thinking it makes sense. I will have two gyre pumps inside the tank and will probably do locline nozzles on returns. I may take the return nozzles to the opposite side of the tank....? Thoughts?I personally thing mote drains the better and then you could do seaswirls on the returns
That would help any scum on the surface be pushed. That's really the biggest issues with peninsula style tanks.I agree, I've been leaning this way and thinking it makes sense.
