Hi all,

Have not been very active due to life. Tanks still goin strong and always evolving. That said, I lost a family member today. One of my 2 pajama cardinals passed overnight. Everyone else in the tank is fine so I think age finally caught up. The pair is over 10 years old conservatively. I posted about them in 2019. My remaining one is just hovering above where the body was in a spot never went to before

. Feel so sad right now. Fish are family.

Everyone be well.

Sorry for your loss. As much as fish deaths can
hurt at least you didn't have to watch it die. My worse loss was my Hippo tang of 5 years. It hung out with a yellow tail damsel when I first got. The damsel was larger than the Hippo so it was fun to watch them together.

EDIT: off topic but what made you choose a cat for your avatar with your user name?

A bit of irony, comedy, and something that can be easily remembered. Also, I can’t afford to pay my dogs exorbitant licensing fees to use her photos.
