Hi Local Reefers,

We are located in Hermosa Beach and need to find a new home for our Sailfin Tang, he is about 4 inches when his fins are fully expanded. If you are interested please let me know. Free if you are willing to pick up from us. He outgrew our tank unfortunately, want to find him a good home.

How big of a tank do you have right now? I would love to take him. But I have a 75 Gal right now. Plan to upgrade to a 190 Gal in about a year.

We have a 105, I think 75 would be a bit small for him but man if you had that 190 it would be perfect.

I have a 120- but I’m not sure if it would be bad To introduce with my scopus and yellow eye?

but I would love to have him. I’m not far from you

update: sorry- I don’t think my 120 is big enough.

Its bigger than what I can offer him, he might do better with you. Scopas tang is really my only concern, they are similar shape so I know that sailfins can sometimes fight with Zebrasoma. How big is he?

He’s about 3” nose to tail. But he was a bully to the yellow eyed tang- so I’m
Not sure how he would do.

Yea thats tough, Id hate to rehome him only to have more issues down the line for you. Do you know anyone else in the are with a big tank? Again, I am not looking for any money for this fish, just want to give him a new home. I just dont know any LA Reefers.
