It looks like something in my tank is taking bites off of his upper fin. Does anyone have any thoughts, is there any way I can prevent it from happening?

Need more information what are all of the tank inhabitants and parameters
We have 75 gal
1 Yellow belly Blue Tang
1 Bicolor Angelfish
1 Royal Gamma
2 Snowflake Clownfish
1 Cardinal fish
3 Chromis
2 Peppermint Shrimp
1 Blue Crab
Misc. Snails and hermits.

Nothing obvious there. Could be the tang or the angel.

Tangs often do end up with random cuts and scrapes that should heal quickly.

Long-term, the blue and sailfin tangs will need a large tank, FYI
