Salifert alk test kit printing typo?

Someone please tell me this is a typo
I have 2 different boxes of the alk test kits, one says different than the other in step 2

Doubt it is a typo since the low res drops have also been cut in half. Likely just a running change on the reagents. Calcium test was change recently as well.

The two most recent boxes of salifert alk test (expiring 2022 I believe) that I have gone through have been 4 drops for standard test and 2 drops for low res. Thats what I have been doing.

The newest one expiring 9 2022 is the one saying 2 drop or 1 drop

I can confirm that my instructions say 4 for standard, and 2 for low. However, I agree with the reagent theory posted above; they are likely both correct and both align with the chemicals that came in the box with each set. Just make sure you are using the chemicals that came with the right set of instructions.

Given they do not really tell us what the reagents, titrants and whatever chemicals we are using are, it is not wise to keep the extra chemicals to use on other test kits.

If in doubt, mine came with a test sample; did yours?

But it is. I've tried doing the way each instructions say to and ones coming out a 3 dkh difference? I've tried doing both the same way (because I was curious ) I did it the same way everyone is confirming.
4ml of water and 4 drops of solutions, and they come out the same. 10 dkh

Sorry, I would not assume it is correct to do something different from the directions, but in this case it doesn't matter much. The amount of dye added is not important and should not change the answer, as long as you can clearly detect the color.
