when I do both test per instructions after gently swirling the test for the specified time I notice the granulated solution still leaves tiny granules in the bottom of the test cup. Anyone else experience this? I assumed that it all would dissolve but am I wrong? It’s a negligible amount but I want to make sure it’s not throwing my testing off

For which test? Nitrate, phosphate, or both? I have the nitrate test and use it regularly, but I've never had the granules you mention.

For both. Neither test does the granules fully dissolve

I've never had that issue with the nitrate test. Everything always fully dissolves. For the nitrate test, you're using 1 mL of tank water, 4 drops of the solution, and a level scoop of powder right?
