Hello all, i’m testing the salinity of my tank water using a refractometer, hydrometer and Hannah checker the Hanna checker and hydrometer both read the same. The refractometer on the other hand Reads high. I calibrated the refractometer and Hanna checker is calibration solution before testing. Looking for others opinions on why the refractometer would be reading this way. Thanks in advance. Steve.

I clean mine after every use with RO water .
I would take it to trusted LFS and have them check it for you.

I've found that the temperature changes my readings a lot. I got some calibration solution, draw my sample water and leave leave both out on the counter so they both get to the same temp. Calibrate the meter with the 35 solution, and then read the sample water...
