Is anyone using the Sicce UltraZero Utility pump in their salt mixing containers. I am trying to figure out it this pump will help with both the mixing and allowing me to pump the mixed water from my garage to my tank.
Bonus points if you can tell me if a python no spill and fill will connect to this pump and work for this exact usage.

The python uses either 3/4" hose thread (which I believe goes on a laundry sink faucet, for example.) If the top of it is 3/4" male hose, it should work. As for using it as a pump, it greatly depends on the distance

I have a python hose connected to my utility pump for pumping RO/DI. I actually set up a different pump for mixing saltwater.

I think it’ll work it may just take a little for it to completely mix.

I use it to mix in a brute and it works just fine. A standard garden hose can attach to it. I cannot speak to whether or not it would make it from your garage to your tank. I know that it cannot go from my basement to my tank.

Sorry I missed the part about the pumping distance. If it’s a significant change in height then no, the head pressure is too high for this pump to work effectively.

I want to get this pump because it can pump as low as 2mm which help me get every last drop of water out of my mixing container, but they dont sell it where I live.

Right now a sicce syncra pro, which has diy pvc connections and it’s 800gph. It works well for pumping the mixed water but still having not enough flow for effective mixing so I’m buying a classic maxijet to add in there

I use one in my 50 gallon barrel for mixing salt. It works fantastic and mixes fast. I don’t know how well it would push water to another location though.

I fabbed up this pvc gismo and use the pump for mixing salt in a brute in my basement. I no longer have a sump in the basement but I still mix salt there. This pump is not strong enough to pump up to my first floor. I use a pond pump built very similar connected to a cheap remote controlled outlet to transfer up stairs. I'm not sure if the pond pump is safe for extended use in salt water so I only use it to transfer and rinse after.
The mixing gismo

This is the outlet I use. I find it easier to use than an app on my phone and a smart plug.

I use an Ultra Zero in my salt tank to pump through a 100' 1/2" hose to my tank for water changes, It has to rise about 5' over the run. The pump does work for this. It's nowhere near full flow, but I'm fine with this, since I have plenty of things to do during water changes.
