This might be a dumb question, but humor a newbie reefer…. Anyone have any ideas how to prevent the salt buildup gathering around the lid seams on my biocube? For those of you with rimless tanks, how to prevent the salt residue from sticking to your walls and whatever is around the tank?

I don’t . It’s a never ending battle unless there is no splashing or it’s totally covered. Salt creep is real

I bought some Lab Wash Down bottles. One I cut the Straw that goes down inside bottle so I could use it upside down. These make it easier to clean the salt off, just fill with RO/DI Water.

You're doing something wrong if there's that much of it...are you running an airstone?

BioCube is a sealed tank, so nothing should be getting out of it at all. There also shouldn't be much if any salt creep around the rim. Something does seem "off".
