Saltwater Budget Tank Build

Hi, I want to start reefing, ive done a fair amount of research and am looking into getting a 60L tank with a sachem tidal filter? Does anyone know if this is viable and how can I keep the costs down on rocks and corals and sand etc.

It can be done on a budget, it's just harder. Used rock/ sand is the best option but takes patience some times. Budget also can limit some of the coral and livestock you can successfully keep.

IMO its viable, 60 litres is 15 gallon. My 15 gallon doesn't even have a filter. On such a small tank, weekly water changes are the best form of filtration on a nano tank. My 15 gallon has a pair of sicce voyager powerheads, a heater, a light, and an auto top off, thats it. I find it very cheap and easy to run this tank, and honestly and sadly this tank look so much better than my main tank that gets all my love and money. The light is the most expensive component by far.

Buy used rocks cheap from another hobbyist and bleach all the rocks before using them. Buy new sand, but you only need one bag of sand for that size tank. Buy corals from local hobbyists, used the online classifieds from your area.
