Saltwater monstera??

Plants that grow in or get regularly flooded by saltwater have specific way of dealing with the salt. Red mangroves have a specialized root structure to keep salt out kind of like an RO membrane damage the roots and the plant will die. Black and white mangroves have adapted ways to eliminate the salt through their leaves. Monstera have no way to protect themselves from the salt they will die. There are very few true plants that can handle saltwater. Its unfortunate because I love my monsteras in my freshwater tanks along with a palm and various other plants. A lot of plants cant handle long term flooded roots even in freshwater. Why not get a nice red mangrove?
