In light of, or should I say darkness of Halloween. Show off any zombie fish or coral. What constitute as “zombie”….. Simple anything that was on the brink of death that you successfully brought backs to life and is now thriving today. Before and after pictures encouraged and how you nursed back to heath. Unfortunately I’m no Dr Frankenstein and have no resurrection stories. But curious to hear other success out there

Posted this in another thread earlier. This is the only near death coral I've managed to save. I popped it off the rock and cut it down to a nub on the plug then placed it in a different tank more suitable for SPS.

What made the other tanks more suitable for recovery

I think mostly parameters were much more stable. There was also more flow and light since the tank was started with the intention to keep acros. The old tank had become a bit of a mess with gha also after I swapped out some rocks. May just have been a coincidence, I've had cases of RTN and STN in the SPS tank on occasion since and failed to save any. I have no idea what causes either so what actually saved this one is speculation and I'm sure more luck than anything.
