Hello everyone,

I just wanted to leave a quick post about my recent experience ordering from Dr. Reefs Quarantined Fish!

I ordered an Achilles Tang, Coral Banded Shrimp, Sand Sifting Starfish and a Lobophyllia Coral back in July.

The time frame is generally around 4 weeks of quarantine before shipping. Unfortunately, I did not receive the order until mid September. As impatient as I was I am extremely happy they decided to wait. It shows a lot of care for the animals and helps to guarantee a successful delivery.

The delay was due to weather, there was a massive heat wave in OK at the time and I respect their decision. At the end of the day this was by no means an inexpensive order.

I am happy to report the Tang has been in the tank for over a month now and he is thriving. I completed a 76 day fallow and full copper treatment for the other residents before placing this order. As of this moment no signs of parasites or lethargy. From the moment I put him into the acclimation box he was swimming around with no clamped fins or reason to panic.

He began eating within 24 hours of introduction to the tank, feeding on Nori in the acclimation box. I still have not gotten him to eat frozen Mysis, so far just nori and live baby brine.

I want to mention that Dr. Reefs team has amazing customer service. They do not have a telephone number to reach them but they make up for it with prompt email responses. I am positive they were happy to get that fish to me since I bothered them every other week about it! Seriously, at one point, I messaged them at 1AM and got a reply at 2AM CST!!! Talk about some top tier customer service!

All of the live stock I ordered arrived healthy and ready to get out of those bags! I will certainly be ordering for Dr Reefs again here very soon. I look forward to another amazing experience!

Thanks!

Hi
we thank you for your support and business. I am so glad to hear finally you got the order and fish in. Yes there was a massive heat wave this summer through mid-west that broke every record and broke the banks for electric bills as well. Any how we do have a ph# 918-964-3333 but its for emergencies only. We do have 24/7 email support like you mentioned 1am email. We respond quickly.
Thank you again and happy reefing
