After I got fed up with Liveaquaria I shopped at saltwaterfish and fishybusiness and found both just as good. In fact my current stock is 75% saltwaterfish and 25% from fishybusiness. Very happy with both.

The only thing I have ever bought from them was live rock but I didn't have any issues whatsoever.

It has been years but found SWF to be okay at good prices for the most part.

There prices aren’t any better than my LFS after you factor there $9.99 packaging fee in.

Makes sense. I'm lucky to have several great LFS' nearby.

Guess some of us forget not all areas carry some of the uncommon critters.

I’ve used them before. Healthy stuff. Didn’t ship in much water. Snails and hermits were packed in wet newspaper. I prefer to drive a couple hours to Sacramento. I live in the mountains and have had some problems with delivery at no fault to the shippers. Id order from them again if they had what I wanted.

My experience was not a good one. Having said that, the manager is to call me today and I want to give them the opportunity to make it right. After that exchange and outcome whatever it may be, I feel I'll then be in a position to give good advice as to whether or not to place that order.

My first order with them was a disaster (arrived this morning). The poor tang was shipped in an under inflated bag on it's side, so the fish spent 18 or so hours stuck on his side in less than an inch of water. He didn't survive long. I notified customer service of the issue and requested a refund. I've never seen a fish this poorly shipped, especially a $200 fish.

That said, they are the only place that has this fish in stock currently so I may give them a chance to make it right. They should fire whoever packed the order. Not very happy that I wasted a morning dealing with this.

Bumping this as I'm interested in buying from Saltwaterfish.com... They have a sale on a few fish I'd like, and assure me all fish are eating and unmedicated... Thoughts on this?
