Same question - sort of: Anemones hiding

So I know this is a VERY frequent question. "My new anemone is hiding, what do I do?" I have read a lot of the posts. However, most of them say that the anemone will come out once comfortable. And most do. Which is why I waited to post. Some say don't feed it, some say do feed it. Some say use a powerhead, some say let it be.

I have one neon BTA that has been in the tank over 2 weeks. And one Rainbow BTA that has been in the tank almost 2 weeks. The Neon came out for about a day and is now under a rock. And the Rainbow is as far hiding as it can to where I can barely see it. Can see just enough to see it is still alive.

They both have full color and they cycle through the day from open to closed.

Tank is established and standard params are good. Using two 48 inch AquaticLife HM Electronics Edge LED lights.

First important question is, do I try to feed them in their chosen hiding spots? Or do I refrain to make them come out looking?

Next question is, is there something else I should be looking at that may not be right in the tank they don't like?

I know anemones are going to anemone (just like kids will be kids). Just want to make sure I am doing the best I can for it (before my viewing pleasure)

I second this. I have a Mag that’s been doing laps around the tank and settled in the lowest light and flow for a month. Then it slowly made its way back to the top of the rock... will see how long it stays there

I just leave mine too. I gave up trying to figure out what is "wrong" with it and just let it be. As long as it looks healthy and thriving, don't worry about the placement of them. It's just like people, they have all different personalities. Some aren't going to like being out in the open and in view swaying away. Some like to be somewhat hidden. Mine loves to put his foot upside down (ceiling of the cave) and faces the inside of the cave rather than the outside, he switches it up. But, I stopped worrying. He is thriving and super lushes looking so I wouldn't worry as long as they are healthy!
