I’m upgrading to a 75g from my 40g tomorrow I’m gonna instantly move everything over due to me not having the space for 2 tanks and I don’t have but just a tiny bit of sand in my 40. What would be the best dry sand I would add that petco would have. And would using dry sand be a bad idea

If you're moving over all of the rock you'll be fine because the bio-load of the tank is staying the same. Rinse (even in tap water is okay if it's only a few minutes) and add all of the existing sand from your 40g to the new dry sand in the 75g. Any sort of aragonite sand (dry or some of the "live" stuff they sell in bags) will work.

Dry sand is fine, just be sure to rinse it well before putting it in. Use tap water to rinse rinse and re-rinse until it doesn't get all cloudy anymore. Then rinse again with RO water before putting it in.
You can also rinse your existing sand, just use saltwater to do it.
^ that would be fine. You don't need to spend on live sand.
