Hey there everyone! I’ve had my mind made of for a while on getting a orange diamond foby for sand sifting. I’ve been told also that if I don’t have enough algae growth it could potentially die and rather fast in my 24g nano … what are some options I have besides snails. Which shrimp would serve its purpose and last if that’s an option. I’ve also heard sailfin blennies? I’ve taken a liking to them and would love to own one, but they are said to not get along with gobies. I’m at a crossroads..

Most gobies will go after mysis, pods, or other foods when they're not sifting sand or when they're available. So long as you feed it as well you should be fine.

I have a diamond goby in my frag system. Keeps the sand clean and eats anything I put in the tank.

How many gallons is your frag system and is he/her the only fish in this system?
System is 36x24x12 so 45g's plus 40 breeder sump, around 60 g's.
I clown that lives in a 18 headed frogspawn and a 6 line wrasse.

Research the Two Spot Goby; ounce for ounce the king of rearranging your tank, lol.
