sandalscout's 90 Gallon Mixed

Hey Everyone!

I've got a 90 Gallon Mixed tank that I've had online for about 1.3 years now. I've finally gotten it to where I'm really happy with it. I'm running 6x54w T5s with icecap reflectors, Octopus DDNW150 skimmer, OceanRunner 2500 return, and dosing calc/alk using a 2 head dosing pump on my RKL.

Sitting right next to it is a 40 breeder frag tank, tied into the sump with a throttled down RIO HF20 return pump. it's running a 6bulb Teklight 36" fixture.

I'm planning on these purchases soon:
backup generator
Vortech mp40w (maybe two) for the 90
Vortech mp20 for the frag tank
SL2 (to move my autohub ATO to my QT tank)

Thanks guys, I'm really starting to be pretty happy with it, and now starting to move into some really awesome coral in my opinion.

Hey, I just realized you were asking about the specific bulbs I'm running. Honestly, I'm not 100% sure. I have mostly UVL bulbs, but I've just finished rebuilding the hood and I'm using two bulbs that I can't find markings on, and I definetely didn't get them back in the order that I initially had them in. I'm planning on replacing all of the bulbs in the next few months. I know that at least one bulb is a year old, but most of them are about 8 months old. I'm currently leaning toward GrimReefer's recommended setup, but will experiment some.
