For myself, I purchased a Diamondback just 3 weeks ago. He has made a significant difference in the texture and cleanliness of my substrate. Her, along with 2 emerald crabs and a few Cerith Snails, I have a new base
Does the goby kick sand up in the water column?

What kind of triggers do you have? I have a niger trigger and her leaves everything alone.

Are your nitrates high, and this is the reason that you are looking for a clean up crew?

How about sea cucumber? I don't think anything eats those as they are toxic.

People won't like this but I have a Watchman goby and pistol pair and a sand sifting starfish in my 20g long. It's been 6 months both look healthy and happy

Niger and Picasso
looking for a “cuc” because I have heavy waste makers. 3 tangs, 2 triggers, and to help with getting rid of it I understand that a cuc is needed.
plus that’s what people push down your throat when you’re new to the hobby.
I am still trying to figure out the needs vs preference because everybody has their own “theory” on “how” to do things.
