Here's the much anticipated teaser photos. Not the greatest photos as usual!

There's a few more fish in there since the last photos and also a couple less. I added a pair of female pylei wrasses from Divers Den and moved in my Magnificant Foxface and I also lost my supermale Lineatus to my mean Rhomboid male and I also pulled out my male Rosefascia wrasse as it was beating on Bob my Laboutei.

Lots of new corals have been added as well ... mostly SPS from KEEPERZ and Pnoyreefer. I also added 3 of the reef shelves that Gooch is making and I got those from Bill at Midwest Saltwater. I plan on placing my prized chalices on those and letting them grow out nicely. I'll add 2 LED strip lights to the back over the shelves to highlight their colors.

I like how you have the shelves positioned in the tank. Once you have em all corallined up and full of coral they will look awesome. I really like the open look.

Gooch - I had 3 of the large shelves, but the right side of the tank is not entirely exposed on the backside, so I could not hook on magnet #2, so I went with just a medium there and will use the other large in my new 109G tank build. I've got my chalices ready to mount, I'm just now deciding who gets to go where!

I really like the idea of the "surge" tanks concept ... and also am liking the "reef shelves" on the back wall but where does one obtain something like that? Don't think I could find stuff like that over here .. in Toronto!!

Here's some details of the fishroom.

As I mentioned earlier, I have a 10'x21' fishroom that is directly behind the new tank.

This is the system that was running tank #2 right after it was set-up. The system for tank #3 will be in the same area, but most of the components have been changed out other than the skimmer.

After tank #2 broke, 3-40 gallon breeders were added on my work bench to hold the majority of the live rock and some fish. A few months ago the actual sump was moved to the other side of the room and the refugium was taken off-line so that I could start to prepare the area for the new sytem.

This photo is the temporary system that was still running until 2 weeks ago on the opposite side of the fishroom. The prop tank on the right is run off another system in the same room:

This is the area where the new system is going back in ... on the right and against the back wall. This is also the new 75 gallon fuge ... which was relocated further to the left to make room for the skimmer on the stand. All the equipment on the left side runs my 92 Gallon corner tank on the 1st floor:

With the area cleared of equipment, I was able to 2-Part Epoxy the floor, seal the area where the wall meets the floor and then add vinyl floor base to keep the water contained to the room and not bleeding out into the carpet ... as that has happened several times:

I got it at either Menards or Lowes. I think Menards had the color base coat on sale and then I got the clear top coat at Lowes. Be sure to apply the clear topcoat or else it will eventually start to peel. The product is made my Rustoleum and is typically used for garage floors.

I am definately going to be doing the floor coat on my new build in the fishroom. once I know where all the basement walls are going anyways! I can't believe how much everything has colored up already.

The floor coating with the top sealer makes spills really easy to clean up! There's also sand you can mix into the topcoat so there's no slipping on the floor. I don't use the one in the basecoat as I knew I was doing the topcoat and would add the sand there.
