Hello,

Before 3 weeks I've add one Sarcophyton sp to my reef - 80 liters. After few days he opened normally. But I did stupid mistake and by mistake I've put in my filter sera peat instead of charcoal for 24 hours before I've notice that. So the sera peat reduce the pH, I've make several water changes and add once baking soda in order to rise the pH again. Everything is ok, but he Sarcophyton sp looks dead - shrunk , before 1 week it start to open, but didn't open normally - it's stays half opened and there is like skin shedding. Is there something that I can do to help him?

Thanks,
Georgi

You can try removing the slime shed. Make sure hes in good flow and keep parameters stable.
