Anybody else have one of these shrimp? Mine hid for at least three weeks when I first got it, I thought it was dead. Then I saw it one day and was so shocked! Now I see it about everyday. He hides once he has been spotted. It’s like playing where’s Waldo. Love this little guy!

That’s a nice pic!
I used to have one. They are very pretty shrimp. Word of caution though, some of them are coral munchers...... mine liked to nibble my Setosa

Ah! Good thing mine is mostly a macro algae and gorgonian tank. I’ve heard there are a couple different varieties commonly available and that some are reef safe and some aren’t, not sure if it’s true and I don’t remember the source. I’ve never seen him munch on anything!

I've had 3 for about a year. I thought that they killed each other off and I only had 1. In the process of setting up my new tank and breaking down my old one I found all 3! I've never noticed any coral eaten by them. My emerald crab however wiped out a purple stylo in a couple nights: (Caught him in the act)
He now resides in the sump.
