all fish have parasites that come from the ocean. Their immune system, if the fish is healthy, is enough to keep them in check, but the parasites are there.

External parasites yes, but I would still be wary about internal. There are certain parasites that we can’t get from fish but fish can
Thanks guess i have no choice but too freeze for 48 hours with any fish then

I'd like to hear from someone more knowledgeable than I, but I've been led to believe that "sashimi" or "sushi" grade are really just marketing terms, and not really defined.
just done abit research and seems you are most likely correct
